Le projet Réparation et changements climatiques, qu'est-ce que c'est ?

Le projet Changement climatique et droits humains : responsabilité et réparation, subventionné par le Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines du Canada (CRSH) — programme Engagement Partenarial — est dirigé par la Pre Miriam Cohen, avec les professeurs Vladyslav Lanovoy (Université Laval) et Armando Rocha (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) ainsi que Maria Antonia, directrice du Global Climate Change Litigation du Sabin Center (Columbia Law School), en partenariat avec le Global Network for Human Rights and the Environment.

La justice et les changements climatiques

Ce projet de recherche consiste à analyser les décisions et avis consultatifs rendus par les principales juridictions régionales et internationales en matière de changements climatiques et à éclairer les enjeux s’y rattachant quant à la responsabilité des États et la réparation en cas de dommages liés au changement climatique.

Notre équipe a reçu le Prix Hsu Mo, à Taipei, dans le cadre du International Law Association–American Society of International Law Asia-Pacific Research Forum 2025 qui a eu lieu du 7 au 8 juillet, en présence de l’ancien Président taïwanais, M. Ying-jeou Ma.

Du 10 au 11 avril 2025, a eu lieu le colloque international « Changements climatiques et réparations » à la Faculté de droit de l’Université de Montréal.
